Terravita

After witnessing a concert at the United Palace, we headed to Terravita based on a recommendation. There were five of us, but two had already eaten and simply accompanied us, which means only three of us dined. For starters, we ordered the mushroom hummus and truffle and cheese fries. As our main courses, we went for the steak and fries and the duck fried rice. We also ordered a hazy IPA and a Tempranillo wine. The interior of the place is quite lovely, giving off that fine dining vibe. When our appetizers arrived, they brought us the hummus we had ordered, along with another one with lamb that we didn’t request. Furthermore, they brought the fries we ordered, along with tacos we didn’t ask for. We had to call the waiter twice to explain what had happened. So far, so good. My beer arrived; I had ordered a hazy IPA, but they brought me a lager… not even close. Once again, we had to call the waiter to fix the issue. The hummus was delicious, that’s the truth, but it was annoying that they brought us things we didn’t order. When the hanger steak came, it came with another plate of tacos we didn’t request, and that was like, “What’s wrong with the waiter, did he get everything wrong? Was he not listening, or did he want to give us more food for some reason? I don’t know, and we’ll never know.” We asked for the bill after the duck rice and left, laughing a bit and a bit irritated. Oh, the final check included drinks we never ordered, so once again, we had to call the waiter to explain and fix the inconvenience. All of this is to say that we quite enjoyed the food and drinks, but the service was rather clumsy, careless, and unfocused. Besides that, they didn’t treat us poorly; in fact, everyone was very friendly. It’s just that we had a waiter who seemed to be on the moon rather than at Terravita. Would I go back? Yes, but I’d choose a different spot 😂.

Magical This place was all 10’s across the board. Their slow braised short rib was absolutely amazing! Tender, juicy and flavorful! It was my favorite of the evening. The bread pudding was equally as good and i cant wait to go back and have both! Ambience, Food, Service? Everything was a 10! Also love the music selection, upbeat classical stuff. The place is just a vibe! Highly recommend this place for an intimate celebration or night out

Went for Mother's Day under a reservation during Dinner. I recommend a reservation on special days or if you are going with a big group. The experience feels like fine dining because portions are small and pricey. However, despite the price and size every dish that arrived tasted fresh, was well-prepared, and nicely plated. The drinks were also delicious and one came with a fire presentation. I recommend coming here for a special occasion or a date.

By recommendation I visited the Terravista restaurant, and I was very impressed by its spacious atmosphere, decoration and good taste of the place, it seemed unreal especially for the place where it is located, with traditional food. a true jewel in Washington Highs but the best were its meals and the excellent professional attention of the waiter Mr. Edison. The flavors and fusions of Mediterranean and Asian food make a true combination and explosion of flavors for the most demanding taste of people who like and are lovers of good food. A great selection of wines to choose from and especially if you are undecided you can ask Mr. Edison for help and he can recommend some house wine by the glass. The riesling is super and not very expensive, it also combined very well with our meals. Lamb Hummus and the avocado Thai salad with grilled salmon was delicious, they have a ten out of ten. 

My husband and I have been enjoying this place since they opened. Owners are present and heavily involved so everything runs smoothly. One owner is often around clearing tables and taking orders. Food has never disappointed and always great quality, fresh and tastes amazing! Our Valentines dinner last night was AMAZING! All the seafood was phenomenal, apps were awesome and the mussels were hearty ones, no disappointing tiny ones. Those and the short rib croquettes need to be on the regular menu. And we had all three desserts because we have had them before and couldn’t make up our minds. The place never disappoints.
